We made it to the airport!! I left work at about 2:00 and Dad was already at the house waiting for me! After changing, grabbing my carry on, setting out notes for the boys and giving the dogs some love we were on our way. Dad brought the luggage early and checked us in so all we had to do was go through security once we arrived at the airport. It was so slick! We only had to wait about 10 minutes to get through security. We are now sitting at the Portermill at the airport enjoying a drink and appetizer before we begin our journey to Chicago, Seattle, Anchorage and then Prudhoe Bay. We are a little worried about the lack of time we have for a layover in Chicago, but we’re hoping we can get out on time and run quickly to our gate. Here’s to our great adventure!
Don’t use any salmon- scented cologne or soap once you get there—the critters there could become too friendly—Mike
